Under the BNWO, the Reverse Slave Trade initiative sought to deliver slavery reparations directly to Africa. Whites selected for the program were thoroughly educated on the evils their race committed during the African slave trade. Leaders typically used the males for manual labor - agriculture, mining, military support, even target practice. Given the harsh conditions, most didn't last long.
White females, on the other hand, were often handed out as exotic gifts to local tribes to help secure political support for the leader. Most tribal chief's would take the white females as additional wives, assimilating the conquered women as fully as possible. Such whites would be expected to behave as the rest of a chieftan's wives - dressing the same, living in the harem, contributing to chores, learning the language, and participating in ceremonies.
White wives were a valuable and exotic trophy for a chieftan, demonstrating his power over the white man. But socially, whites were outcast from the rest of the tribe and even their harem. Their frailty, ignorance of the culture, inability to speak the language, and strange hair and skin made it so few tribe members wished to interact with them. As shown in the photos above, at least one chieftan made his whites cover themselves with mud to cover up their white skins. He also made his whites wear headpieces to cover up their stringy western hair.
